Description
Just a few kilometres from San Mauro Mare, Santarcangelo di Romagna is a charming town rich in history and creativity, known throughout Italy for its renowned theatre festival and vibrant cultural scene.
As evening falls, the town reveals its most enchanting side. Cobblestone lanes, panoramic viewpoints and softly lit squares create an intimate and atmospheric setting. Yet beneath the surface lies another world: the mysterious tuff caves, ancient underground chambers carved into the rock, whose origins are still debated and continue to inspire curiosity.
This guided visit leads you through the hidden treasures of the historic centre, down into the underground caves, and to the fascinating Museo del Bottone (Button Museum), a small but remarkable collection that tells the story of fashion and society through thousands of vintage buttons.
An evening experience combining history, mystery and culture — perfect for discovering a different side of Romagna.
