Information on the processing of personal data pursuant to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 679/2016

The Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli, in compliance with the principles laid down by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 679/2016, in force since 25 May 2018, offers users the possibility to interact with its portal in order to consult or use the related services, accessible through the address www.visitsanmauromare.it or its subdomains.

This page describes how the site is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of users who consult it. This information notice is provided for the tourism portals of the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli and its subdomains; it is not valid for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.

Purpose of the Processing

Personal data are processed exclusively for purposes that fall within the institutional tasks of the Administration or for the fulfilment of obligations laid down by laws or regulations.

Within these purposes, the processing may concern data necessary for managing relations with the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli, as well as for enabling effective institutional communication or for fulfilling any legal, regulatory or contractual obligations.

The processing may also concern all data provided at the time of registration or use of online services.


Place and Methods of Data Processing

The processing operations connected to the web services of the site are carried out at the headquarters of the Municipality of San Mauro Pascoli and take place, for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes, also by means of automated tools, in compliance with the security measures aimed at preventing data loss, unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access.

Data are processed exclusively by staff authorised to carry out the processing, or by any parties authorised to perform occasional maintenance operations, in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and non-excessiveness in relation to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.

The personal data provided by users such as first name, surname, residence, telephone contacts, e-mail address, may be used for other processing operations in any case compatible with the purposes for which they were collected, such as, for example, the sending by e-mail of institutional communications and messages of public interest.

The personal data of users who request documents or informational material (newsletters, replies to queries, reports, copies of acts and measures, etc.) or who use online services (initiation of a procedure, viewing the status of the procedure, access to documents, etc.) are processed solely for the purpose of providing the requested service or performance and are communicated to third parties only where this is necessary for that purpose.

Data relating to online services are not subject to communication or dissemination, unless otherwise provided for by law or regulation.


Type and Nature of Data Processed


Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

Although these data are not collected for the purpose of being associated with identified individuals, by their very nature they could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify users, especially where it is necessary to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical cyber offences against the site.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used when submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

This type of data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning. They are stored for the time necessary to carry out analysis activities and comparative statistical processing and, in any case, for a period not exceeding 12 months.


Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site, or the use of reserved areas and the completion of web forms, entails the subsequent acquisition and processing of the data necessary to provide the requested service and/or respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included.

This may mean that users can be contacted by e-mail, by telephone or through other communication systems by an officer of the Administration responsible for handling the request, or by automatic event notification systems (for example: correct or incorrect receipt of an application, approaching of a deadline, etc.).

Specific information notices may be included or displayed on the pages of the site prepared for particular services on request.

Where access to particular services is subject to registration following the provision of personal data, the following general provisions apply:

personal data, collected and stored in databases, will be processed by persons authorised to process them by the controller and will not be disseminated or communicated to third parties, except in the cases provided for by law and in the manner permitted by law;

the data subject may exercise the rights provided for by EU Regulation 2016/679 and, in particular, has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of data concerning them, to obtain the deletion of data processed in violation of the law and to obtain the updating and rectification of their personal data, in the manner and in the cases provided for by law.


Newsletter

Subscribing to newsletters implies the acceptance of the contents of the new European regulation on the protection of personal data, No. 679/2016/EC, and therefore consent to the processing of one’s personal data by the Entity Modello, within the limits established by law. The data, which are not intended for dissemination, are processed using automated procedures and solely by employees authorised to carry out the processing.

It is in any case always possible to exercise the rights provided for by Article 15 of Regulation No. 679/2016/EC and therefore to consult and modify the data or object to their use. Should you no longer wish to receive communications via the newsletters in the future, simply click on the links provided to cancel your subscription.

You can access the personal data collected and stored in order to update them. The request must be sent using the e-mail address associated with the account.


Provision of Data

By using the services available on the portal and/or by filling in specific web forms required for the activation of certain services, users of the site guarantee that any personal data provided are correct, truthful and up to date. They also undertake to promptly update the registered data so that they are constantly up to date, complete and truthful.

The provision of data may be mandatory for the activation of specific online services, as will be further specified on the relevant dedicated pages. In such cases, failure to provide data may make it impossible to obtain the service or what has been requested.

Apart from what has been specified for browsing data and for data of a mandatory nature, in other cases the user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms or otherwise specified in contacts with the offices in order to request the sending of informational material or other communications.

Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them exist and to know their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or to request that they be supplemented or updated, or rectified.

They also have the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, in any case, on legitimate grounds, to their processing.
