TASH SULTANA - One-night-only Italian show

An exceptional event: this is, in fact, the only concert in Italy on the Australian musician’s summer tour, which will take her to international festival stages around the world, presenting the immersive and powerful solo performance through which audiences and critics have come to know and appreciate her over the years. She honed her craft as a performer on the streets of Melbourne, where she began performing as a busker. Self-taught, Tash has learned to play over a dozen instruments, becoming a true “one-person band,” and experimenting with looping techniques that led her to design her own loop station alongside a team of technicians. International success arrived in 2016 with the EP “Notion,” which garnered millions of streams and earned gold and multi-platinum certifications. Her debut album “Flow State” definitively established Tash Sultana as a visionary artist beloved by the public. In 2021, her second album “Terra Firma” marked a new artistic phase, debuting at number one on the ARIA charts and receiving major accolades, including Rolling Stone Australia’s award for Best Single for “Pretty Lady.” In 2023, the EP “Sugar” revealed another facet of her artistic evolution: an experimental project that blends innovative soundscapes with a more direct and luminous songwriting style, featuring collaborations such as the one with BJ The Chicago Kid. In 2025, with the EP “Return to the Roots,” Tash Sultana embarks on a bold and authentic return to her roots, rediscovering the spontaneity of her early experiments with looping and reaffirming her artistic identity, free from any conventions. 2026 marks a new chapter: an ambitious global tour that will also bring her to Acieloaperto.

THE CONCERT VENUE: Villa Torlonia, San Mauro Pascoli

“La Torre,” which witnessed the painful maturation of Pascoli’s poetry, is located on the outskirts of San Mauro, at the heart of what were once the rural estates owned by the Torlonia family, formerly managed by Giovanni Pascoli’s father. It was here, in fact, that young Giovanni saw the faithful ‘cavallina storna’ return on August 10, 1867, bringing his father home after he had been murdered by unknown assailants on his way back from the market in Cesena. The Pascoli family was then forced to leave the Torlonia farm and return to their family home in the center of the village. In 1974, the Ministry of Education declared the building of particular historical interest, placing it under protection, due to the unique floor plan of the main structure, the splendid 18th-century entrance door, and the tower that highlights the main entrance to the complex.
